Hospitals construction related issues to be discussed

Issues related to the proposed construction of 100 new hospitals throughout Georgia will be discussed in Tbilisi today. Georgia’s Prime Minister Zurab Noghaideli and Georgian Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs Lado Chipashvili will meet with potential investors in that regard. About 50 representatives of banking, insurance and construction sectors will participate in the meeting.
“The General Plan for Development of Hospitals Sector” was approved by the Georgian government two weeks ago. The actual construction will be financed in a large part by private investments. However, it is estimated that about 400 million GEL will be allocated for the construction of hospitals of international standards.
